Over the next few years, we are expecting hundreds created by people like you. And every November we plan to present TE RAKI TV AWARDS, a tele-visual celebration where we will honour our video producers and story-tellers. Will you be one?
It’s easy… if you have an i-phone or a video camera, some editing software on your computer, and a little imagination, you too can be a Te Raki TV producer. Need help? Contact us!
Most of us love to talk, laugh and joke, share happy and sad stories, chat on Facebook, with whanau, friends and work mates.
Korērō ensured our stories were passed down from generation to generation, Mãoritanga brings us the legends of Mauī and Kupe, Oceania is on our doorstep, just north of Cape Rēinga…
From Europe came stories and fables of a continent that evolved over centuries, as did Asia, Africa and the Far East. From the Americas came stories of the Wild West, great exploration and natural history. Te Raki TV has viewers all over the world. We welcome you and hope you enjoy our stories.
Aotearoa has a million stories to be shared, past and present. You’ll meet many interesting and entertaining Northlanders here; from Nicholas Connop who we call ‘Nick Clean Up’, Barry Leef originally from Dargaville and cooking up a musical storm in Sydney, the talented team at More FM who produce Odes to Northland communities, a myriad of musicians, performers and business professionals, students, teachers, toddlers and retirees.
All have one thing in common. They have a story to tell. Help someone share their story, or tell us yours…
