Notable Northlanders

Here we celebrate, salute and say tēnā koutou to those Northlanders who have achieved, excelled, left their mark or made a difference to communities in Te Tai Tokerau.

We invite you to nominate notable Northlanders. Help us identify our home-grown heroes. Then we plan to select 100 for students to make short video stories about them.

In 2021, we are looking to work closely with all the schools in our region, on a variety of informative and entertaining subjects. We aim to help pupils produce stories and shows. So having say, five high schools produce twenty videos each on Notable Northlanders would be wonderful!

Even if your school doesn’t have a Video department, talk to your teacher about becoming a Te Raki TV producer. Then contact us. We are here to help!
